Anthony Smith, known as B. Smooth, is a Baton Rouge-bred Hip-Hop artist hailing from the vibrant community of Melrose East known as Mall City. Growing up in Louisiana during the era when jigging dominated the Hip-Hop scene, B. Smooth found his passion for music and set his sights on making a mark in the industry. His passion started in 1983 with a God-given gift, natural talent and love for the writing of poetry when He spent more time writing poetry than he did playing with his friends. Over time his poetry writing turned into writing rap songs and After hearing Curtis Blow's "If I Ruled The World" he knew he wanted to master my rap writing skills and become a successful rap artist.After an initial stint with 4 Down Entertainment, B. Smooth realized the importance of staying true to his artistic vision and sought a new path to fulfill his musical aspirations. B. Smooth has been putting in hard work and many performances.
